Tent City 3

Getting Involved

Whether you are a faculty member, student, staff member, or neighbor, you can get involved not only while Tent City 3 is hosted by Seattle Pacific University, but also long afterward. These suggestions can help get you started.

Learn about homelessness by attending special campus forums. Visit our events page to learn about upcoming forums during the months of January – March.

Serve residents of TC3 by offering your time. Help our guests set up camp, or volunteer with a group to serve a hot meal. In March, help them pack and offer your encouragement as they move to another location. Consult the Meal Preparation Calendar and coordinate your service with the SPU committee by contacting tentcity3@spu.edu.

Support TC3 by making a financial contribution to SPU, indicating TC3 in the "Other" option. Give Now. Your gifts of $5 to $200 can provide needed supplies, support SPU-led programs and services, or help cover the cost of a hot meal for TC3. Additionally, check out the TC3 Wish List where you can see what items they need and how you can continue to donate to TC3 beyond their stay at SPU.

Be sure to coordinate all service efforts through the SPU committee. You can contact them at tentcity3@spu.edu.
