Gerry MarshDirector, Wind Symphony
Gerry Marsh is director of music technology and director of the Wind Symphony at Seattle Pacific, and associate conductor of Thalia Symphony, SPU’s orchestra-in-residence. He is also music director and conductor of Cascade Youth Symphony in Edmonds, Washington.
Marsh is frequently involved as a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator for music competitions and festivals in the West Coast, Canada, England, and Europe.
A published composer and arranger, he has received numerous composition awards and commissions. He has also received awards and citations from the Seattle Music and Arts Foundation and the Edmonds Music and Arts Club for his work with young people.
In 1998 he was inducted into the inaugural Washington Music Educators Association Hall of Fame. |
