Instructions to Faculty and Board of Trustees
Graduate Hooding Ceremony
Friday, June 12, 8:45–9:15 a.m., Martin SquareFaculty and Board of Trustees members, please meet in Martin Square at 8:30 a.m. At the conclusion, a dean will lead students to join the faculty procession for Ivy Cutting. We will begin marching into Tiffany Loop at 9:25 a.m. Faculty, please dress in academic regalia.
Ivy Cutting
Friday, June 12, 9:30–10:30 a.m., Tiffany LoopFaculty and Board of Trustees members, please meet between Moyer Hall and Peterson Hall at 9:15 a.m. to line up for the processional. Faculty, please dress in academic regalia.
Baccalaureate
Friday, June 12, 7:30–8:30 p.m., Royal Brougham PavilionThis is an informal worship service planned by the students. Academic regalia is not worn.
Commencement Exercises
Sunday, June 14, 2 –5 p.m., Safeco Field, 1250 First Avenue South, Seattle
Faculty, please pick up your ticket outside the Home Plate entrance before entering Safeco Field. Note: You must have a ticket to enter the ballpark.
Proceed to the marked area where you will line up. Please arrive no later than 1 p.m. The faculty marshals will assist with arranging the procession.
Faculty, please note you are required to attend Ivy Cutting and Commencement. You are encouraged and welcome to attend Graduate Hooding and Baccalaureate. If you are unable to attend any of the required events, you must receive permission in writing from your dean to be absent.
Trustees, please call the President's Office at 206-281-2114 before Friday, April 17, to arrange for academic regalia for Commencement. You will be able to pick up your ticket outside the Home Plate entrance before entering Safeco Field. Note: You must have a ticket to enter Safeco Field. Proceed to the marked area where you will line up.
