Instructions to Faculty and Board of Trustees

Graduate Hooding Ceremony

Friday, June 6, 8:45–9:15 a.m., Martin Square
Faculty and Board of Trustees members, please meet in Martin Square at 8:30 a.m. At the conclusion, a dean will lead students to join the faculty procession for Ivy Cutting. We will begin marching into Tiffany Loop at 9:25 a.m. Faculty, please dress in academic regalia.

Ivy Cutting

Friday, June 6, 9:30–10:30 a.m., Tiffany Loop
Faculty and Board of Trustees members, please meet between Moyer Hall and Peterson Hall at 9:15 a.m. to line up for the processional. Faculty, please dress in academic regalia.

Baccalaureate

Friday, June 6, 7:30–8:30 p.m., Royal Brougham Pavilion
This is an informal worship service planned by the students. Academic regalia is not worn.

Commencement Exercises

Saturday, June 7, 12:30–3:30 p.m., Qwest Field, 800 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle
Faculty, please pick up your ticket outside the North Gate before entering Qwest Field. Note: You must have a ticket to enter the field. Proceed to the marked entrance area to the left of the main stairs where you will line up. Please arrive no later than 11:45 a.m. The faculty marshals will assist with arranging the procession.

Faculty, please note you are required to attend Ivy Cutting, and Commencement. You are encouraged and welcome to attend Graduate Hooding and Baccalaureate. If you are unable to attend any of the required events, you must receive permission in writing from your dean to be absent.

Trustees, please call the President's Office at 206-281-2114 before Friday, April 18, to arrange for academic regalia for Commencement. You will be able to pick up your ticket outside the North Gate before entering the Stadium. Note: You must have a ticket to enter the Stadium. Proceed to the entrance left of the main stairs to locate your line-up area.
