The Digital Society

The Digital Society: Rethinking the Christian Commentary on Technology for the 21st Century, June 22–23, 2012

How should Christians frame our understanding of technology?
What makes a Christian perspective on technology unique from others?
How does our theology and spirituality influence the way we think about technology?

Join the Center for Integrity in Business at Seattle Pacific University in exploring these and other questions at an important conference about rethinking the Christian commentary on technology for the digital era.

The conference will gather practitioners, business and IT leaders, and historians and sociologists who study technology. We’ll begin a new conversation — one that blends the practical experiences of those who design, build, and direct the implementation of new technologies with important theoretical perspectives from academia.

Our hope is that this conversation will eventually lead to the development of new Christian perspectives on technology that are more balanced and ultimately more helpful to both fellow Christians and the wider secular society.
