Karen Gutowsky

Professor Gutowsky received her BFA in Visual Communications from the University
of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and her MFA in Visual Communication Design from
University of Washington. Karen is a co-partner of Z Group, a Seattle design
firm specializing in corporate branding and print, environmental and digital
communications. She has managed and completed design projects for a wide variety
of national and regional corporations, including AT&T Wireless, Microsoft
Corporation, Alaska Airlines and Children's Hospital. Her design work has been
nationally recognized and published by Communication Arts, Graphic Design USA,
the Society of Publication Designers and the Society of Illustrators.
