Applying to the Studio Arts Major–Art History Emphasis

Students desiring to apply to Art History must provide the following
documentation:

1. A completed copy of the official "Application for Declared Major or Minor."
2. A personal statement of interest and intent (approximately 1 page in length).
3. An unofficial copy of their transcript.

To be admitted to the program, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Once admitted to the major, students must maintain a major GPA (Art classes only) of at least 3.0. Failure to meet this standard may result in dismissal from the major.
