About: Worship Workshops and the Center for Worship
The Center for Worship at Seattle Pacific University exists to develop excellent worship programs for the SPU community and to serve as a resource for the training of Christian leaders across the nation.
One of the Center’s initiatives consists of a series "Worship Workshops" to gather local church leaders for fellowship, learning, and intentional dialogue on selected topics. Throughout the year, we will offer workshop topics designed to expand our worship language and practice to better model the reconciliation and love of God’s Kingdom.
Many of these workshops are offered free of charge and are open to all Seattle-area clergy and lay leaders from any Christian tradition. At each workshop, we will be presented with fresh ideas to enrich the worship of our congregations. We will build relationships between our different communities, and we will worship together as an ecumenical fellowship. |
