Night of Worship: Reconciled Revisited!
On Sunday, May 18, the Seattle Pacific University Gospel Choir and Wind Symphony will partner with the First Free Methodist Church choir and others to lead a special worship service that includes the celebration of communion. All are invited; bring your friends, families and congregations! The service will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Free Methodist Church, adjacent to the SPU campus on Third Avenue West. The service is based on "Reconciled: A Gospel Symphony," composed by SPU's Gerry Marsh with libretto by Ryan Marsh of Church of the Beloved. Through a unique blending of the Gospel and Neo-Classical genres, Reconciled models the unity and love of God's kingdom - breaking down walls and inviting the Church to experience renewed fellowship. For more information about this event, please email SPU's Center for Worship. Check out the SPU website for driving directions and a campus map. |
