Dinner Reception

Congratulations on your admission to SPU!

We invite you to come celebrate with us and learn about SPU’s vision for ethnic diversity, hear about campus resources, and get to know some of your potential future classmates, as well as some current SPU students!

Ethnic Diversity is about more than just numbers to us. Discover how Seattle Pacific University intentionally supports the cultural transitions of our increasingly diverse student body during this free, semi-formal dinner.

               Sunday, March 8, 2015

3:00-6:45 p.m.

Seattle Pacific University

Gwinn Commons

During our time together we will:

  • Talk openly about ethnic diversity at SPU
  • Share a meal in a semi-formal setting
  • Hear from SPU professor, Dr. Brian Bantum, who will challenge us to think critically about race and Christianity

All admitted students interested in learning about ethnic-diversity at SPU are welcome! However, this event is especially beneficial to:

  • Students who attend an ethnically diverse high school or live in an ethnically diverse neighborhood
  • Students who are the first in their family to attend a 4 year college
  • Students who are a part of an ethnic or racial background that is traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
