High School Seniors & Juniors, this is your chance to dive into the SPU college life and get an exclusive experience tailored just for you! Stay overnight in the residence halls, meet current SPU students, sit in on classes you may be interested in taking, hear from Professors about the majors that you're considering, and kick-back during our special 'Preview Experience' Thursday evening. Schedule – Check out the tentative Academic Preview schedule Registration – The cost per student to attend 2012 Academic Preview is $35 and will cover all meals on campus & lodging. Guests pay just $10 per person if they would like to participate in any or all event meals. To Register call the Admissions Office at: 1(800) 366-3344 Waiver – All participating students must submit a signed event waiver (PDF) by snail mail, fax, or email. Email to: admissions@spu.edu OR fax to: (206) 281-2544 Please mail payment & waiver to: Lodging – 2012 Academic Preview student attendees will be assigned to a SPU host who will host them overnight in a residence hall on Thursday October 18th. Enjoy staying amongst current SPU students! Transportation – With two weeks notice, transportation from the airport, train station, or bus station to SPU is complementary for prospective students attending Academic Events; each additional guest may request transportation for $20 each way. Parents traveling with their student can stay in nearby hotels. Fine Arts Scholarship Audition - Audition times will be available for students attending Academic Preview. To inquire about the Fine Arts Scholarship audition process, and to request an audition, go to www.spu.edu/fpa and select 'appointment'. Parents – Parents, we recognize you play a huge role in the college decision making process, and we hope you can join your student at Academic Preview!
