Transfer StudentsSmooth Transitions: Rob Faucette's Story Rob Faucette knew he would attend a four-year college one day, but as a transfer student. He attended Bellevue Community College where he earned his associate degree. “It was much more cost effective to attend a community college first,” says the junior. “I was able to get most of my general education requirements out of the way while my career goals came into sharper focus.” Seattle Pacific University's physical education program, small class sizes, and its Christian mission drew Rob to the University. His own initiative has been key to his adjustment. “You're definitely going to be timid at first,” says the Bellevue native. “Still, you have to stick it out and be proactive in meeting people.” |
