Admission Requirements and Deadlines

Admission is based on a comprehensive review of each individual application. While GPA is the most important factor in the review process quality of writing, demonstrated through the application essays, recommendations and sometimes standardized test scores all impact our decisions. To complete an application you must submit:

$45 application fee
Completed Common Application form and SPU Supplement form
2 essays
Instructor Evaluation
Official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended
Official high school transcript and SAT or ACT score if you have completed less than 45 quarter credits (30 semester units) at the time of application

Admission deadlines Questions?

Fall quarter	April 1 (Priority deadline to be eligible for merit-based scholarships) * July 1 (Final Deadline)
Winter quarter	November 15
Spring quarter	March 1
Summer quarter	May 15

*Transfer students studying nursing may apply only for Autumn Quarter, and the deadline is January 15.
