Transfer StudentsAdmission to Your MajorAdmission to most majors is not competitive. Most students meeting the admission requirements for their major will be admitted (Nursing and Visual Communication are the exception) to their major. Students interested in majoring in Nursing or Visual Communication must apply to their major before enrolling at SPU. All other majors require completion of at least one quarter at SPU before applying for the major. Most transfer students will be encouraged to enroll in pre-requisites and/or major courses their first quarter at SPU. Nursing majorApplication to the university and to the Nursing major must be submitted by February 15.
