Noah SimpsonHometown: Lake Oswego, OR
Education: Lake Oswego High School; Seattle Pacific University (B.A. in Global Development Studies)
Favorite Seattle restaurant: Agua Verde Cafe and Paddle Club.
A trip I'd like to take: Id love to return to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and to Senegal with my wife.
Family: My wife and fellow SPU alum, Becky Jo, plus family in Oregon, Tacoma, and beyond!
Favorite sports team: University of Oregon Ducks, Portland Timbers
Book I'm reading now: Redeeming Mulatto by Dr. Brian Bantum (Assistant Professor of Theology at SPU)
Favorite movie: Local Hero
Favorite thing about SPU: Learning from and working with professors who are invested in their students and enjoy teaching, as well as the blend of high-quality academics with a vibrant, diverse faith community.
Advice for high school/transfer students: Apply early to your top schools, and come visit campus. Visits are huge! They can give you a great feel for campus life, and also give you an idea of where youll spend the next two to four years. Make sure to leave time to see the rest of the city when you visit SPU, because Seattle is a one-of-a-kind place.
