Ever want to tap dance? Joshua Hampson’s and Jared Russell’s faux wood flooring could be the perfect shuffle and stepping utopia — that is if their room wasn’t dedicated to sleep, homework, and groups meeting for Bible study.
“Life’s so much easier when you can study when you need to study and watch a movie or hang out somewhere else,” Russell says. The roommates live on a hall that’s well-known for a rowdy and fun atmosphere. “A quiet place is helpful with all the energy that is released at other times,” Russell says. With that said, spontaneous moments in the room do happen. Hampson’s even attempted a tap dance. Unfortunately, he didn’t know what he was doing. “It didn’t work as well as I thought,” he says.
