A member of the UScholars honors program, she is pursuing a self-designed major in global development studies and a minor in theatre, all while acting with University Players, a six-member performing troupe. Meet sophomore Melissa Warren.
Her work designing and staging a display of "human sculpture" during Torture Awareness Week was a glimpse of what she hopes to do someday: channel her passion for the poor into international nonprofit work. But don't worry — she's human — Melissa has a serious weakness for vintage clothing.
