Robert Drovdahl became a full-time faculty member at SPU in 1982. His academic work focuses on the church’s teaching ministry. He teaches courses such as Human Development and Christian Faith, Leadership in Ministry, and Foundations for Educational Ministry.

Dr. Drovdahl recently completed a two-year term as president of the North American Professors of Christian Education, a professional society of faculty at colleges, Bible schools, and seminaries.

He is a member of Shoreline Covenant Church. His family members include his wife, two married children; and two grandchildren. His leisure-time pleasures include backpacking and any racquet sport.
