PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully complete PSY 1180, General Psychology

• Have an overall GPA of 2.0 or above

• Complete the Psychology Major Application, which includes a well-written statement of rationale for selecting this field of study

• Return application along with copy of transcripts to the Psychology Office, located in Marston Hall 125

Please note that formal application to the Department of Psychology should be made no later than the junior year.

General Psychology or an equivalent course must be completed before a student can take any additional psychology courses.
