Commemorating decades of service of the late Professor Emeritus of Psychology, Philip F. Ashton, this honor and monetary award is presented annually to a Psychology student or students in recognition of scholarship, potential for contribution to the field of Psychology, and university and community service.
Department of Psychology Faculty Award
This award annually recognizes a senior student or students enthusiastic about learning and the field of Psychology, who make noteworthy contributions to classroom experiences or extra-curricular programs in the department.
Joy F. Hammersla Award
In honor of Dr. Joy F. Hammersla, Emerita Associate Professor of Psychology, this award recognizes the best student writing on the integration of faith and the discipline of Psychology. The recipient is recognized at the Annual Integration Lecture of the School of Psychology, Family, and Community, and the award-winning paper is bound and archived in the department.
