• You are not required to use one of these lenders; lenders are not listed in any preferential order.  
• You may use any lender that participates in the Federal Family Education Loan program (FFELP) for Stafford and PLUS loans.
• You may use any lender offering an alternative (private) student loan.

• Parent PLUS requires completion of a Parent PLUS Authorization from which you will be directed to the lender MPN.  
• First Year Parent PLUS Borrowers:  PLUS MPN’s are required the first year you are borrowing a Parent PLUS loan for a specific student.
• Repeat Parent PLUS Borrowers for a specific student:  You need only complete a new Parent PLUS Authorization.
