To ensure prompt and accurate completion of your financial aid file, use this checklist.

• Read your Offer of Financial Assistance carefully. You will receive just one initial paper offer while receiving financial aid at SPU. The most current Offer is available in Banner.

• Respond immediately to any notice of missing documents, which may be listed at the bottom of your Offer of Financial Assistance or in Banner.

• Notify SFS by August 1 of any outside resources, including names and amounts not listed on your offer. See Revisions to Your Offer of Financial Assistance.

• Contact SFS if you wish to reduce, modify, or cancel all or part of your financial aid, change your enrollment status, or make other changes affecting your cost of attendance.

• If you plan to borrow a Stafford Loan at SPU, you must complete (only once) a Master Stafford Lender Selection form, a loan counseling session, and a Master Promissory Note. See loan counseling and general loan information.

• Determine how you will pay by investigating payment options.
