Deadlines and Important Dates for the 2008–09 School Year

   1: The FAFSA is available for the 2008–09 school year.
   9: Last day to drop classes for winter quarter and receive a 100% refund
   10: Payment-Due Day - Winter Quarter account statement balance due
   16: Last day to drop classes for winter quarter and receive a 75% refund
   23: Financial Information Session: Credit Reports
   24: Last day to drop classes for winter quarter and receive a 50% refund
   31: 2007 1098-T tax information mailed to permanent addresses and available in Banner

February 2008
   1: Priority FAFSA filing deadline for new freshman students for the 2008-2009 school year
   1: Students attending in Spring Quarter 2008 should have turned in notifications of outside scholarships.
   7: Last day to drop classes for winter quarter and receive a 25% refund
   11: Payment-Due Day
   15: Students attending in Spring Quarter 2008 should have their financial aid file completed.
   15: Payment Plan Applications are due.

March 2008
   10: Payment-Due Day
   17: Notification of 0809 financial aid offers begins for new students (incoming Freshmen and Transfers)

April 2008
   1: Last day to drop classes for spring quarter and receive a 100% refund
   8: Last day to drop classes for spring quarter and receive a 75% refund
   8: Student Employee Celebration
   10: Payment-Due Day: Extended to April 18, 2008
   15: Last day to drop classes for spring quarter and receive a 50% refund
   18: Extended Payment Due Day
   23: Financial Identity
   28: Notification of 2008-2009 financial aid offers begins for continuing students (current/returning students)
   29: Last day to drop classes for spring quarter and receive a 25% refund

May 2008
   8: Student Loan Exit Sessions at 3:30pm and 5:30pm in the Library Seminar Room
   10: Student Loan Exit Session at 1:00pm in the Library Seminar Room
   12: Payment Due Day
   12: Student Loan Exit Sessions at 10:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm, and 7:00pm in the Library Seminar Room
   13: Student Loan Exit Sessions at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, and 5:30pm in the Library Seminar Room
   14: Student Loan Exit Session at 2:00pm in the Library Seminar Room

June 2007
   1: Priority FAFSA filing deadline for returning students for the 2008-2009 school year

   30: Last day to file FAFSAs for the 2007-2008 school year and summer 2008 aid

July 2008
   1: Priority FAFSA filing deadline for new transfer students for the 2008-2009 school year
   10: Payment Due Day

August 2008
   1: Students attending in Autumn Quarter 2008 should have their financial aid file completed.
   1: Students attending in Autumn Quarter 2008 should have turned in notifications of outside scholarships.
   1: Payment Plan Applications are due.
   11: Payment Due Day
   29: Fall pre-bill mailed: Plan your fall finances!

September 2008
   10: Payment Due Day
   19: Autumn quarter Financial Aid begins disbursing: all outstanding paperwork should be resolved
   23: First billing statement for Autumn available online (Due October 10)

October 2008
   1: Job Fair - 11:00am to 3:00pm in Upper Gwinn
   3: Last day to drop classes for fall quarter and receive a 100% refund
   10: Payment Due Day
   10: Last day to drop classes for fall quarter and receive a 75% refund
   17: Last day to drop classes for fall quarter and receive a 50% refund
   31: Last day to drop classes for fall quarter and receive a 25% refund

November 2008
   1: SFS Undergraduate Scholarship applications available
   10: Payment Due Day
   15: Payment Plan Applications are due.
   30: SFS Undergraduate Scholarship applications due by 4:30pm

December 2008
   1: Students attending in Winter Quarter 2009 should have turned in notifications of outside scholarships
