Nursing Student Loan Program
Nursing students with at least sophomore standing are eligible for loans to assist in meeting their educational expenses. Loans carry a simple interest rate of 5 percent and are repayable over a 10-year period, beginning nine months after completion of the course of study, or dropping below half-time credit load or withdrawing from school; Nursing loan recipients must remain in the nursing program for the loan to remain in in-school deferment. No interest is charged while students are in school and during a nine-month grace period thereafter.

Students receiving a nursing loan will be notified reqarding any paperwork required for this loan mid-July.
