To ensure prompt and accurate completion of your financial aid file, use this checklist.

• Read your Offer of Financial Assistance carefully. You will receive just one initial paper offer while receiving financial aid at SPU.



• Respond immediately to additional requirements that may be listed on the bottom of your Offer of Financial Assistance.

• Notify SFS of any outside resources, including names and amounts not listed on your offer by August 1, 2008. See Revisions to Your Offer of Financial Assistance.

• Contact SFS by email, telephone, or in writing, if you wish to reduce, modify, or cancel all or part of your financial aid, change your enrollment status, or make other changes affecting your cost of attendance.

• If you plan to borrow a Stafford Loan at SPU, you must complete (only once) a Master Stafford Lender Selection form, a loan counseling session, and a Master Promissory Note. See loan counseling and general loan information.

• Determine how you will pay by investigating payment options.
