Financial Aid: Grants & Scholarships

A number of scholarship funds have been established by individual donors to be awarded to current SPU students who are continuing their enrollment at SPU.

There are approximately 50 scholarships, awarded by Student Financial Services each year, ranging from $200 to $1500. Eligibility requirements vary, based on the criteria established by the donors. Generally, the scholarships require a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and some involvement in co-curricular activities. Some scholarships also require demonstrated financial need, so be sure to complete the current year FAFSA. Applications for the SFS Undergraduate Scholarship are due in early December for the following academic year.

If you have questions about the SFS Undergraduate Scholarship Application, please contact the Program Manager of Grants and Scholarships at 206-281-2467 or fill out our contact form.

Scholarship Notebook Online Occasionally SFS receives scholarship notices from outside agencies and organizations. SFS makes this information available to students in a physical notebook located in the SFS Lobby. In addition, SFS provides this online version of the outside scholarship notebook. Please check this site periodically for updates, and do not forget to view the Scholarship News for highlighted scholarship and tips. The notebook is available December through June.
