State Need Grant
The State Need Grant program helps the state’s lowest-income undergraduate students. A processed FAFSA is required and awards are made as funds are available. These are funds that do not need to be repaid. They are awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and continued academic progress. The State of Washington has announced that the estimated average amount of state-supported financial aid at SPU for 2007-2008 is $918. State programs include work-study, grants and scholarships. The FAFSA is used to determine eligibility.
