To receive the best possible offer, submit your FAFSA online soon as possible after January 1 of each year you will attend SPU. You must reapply each year. You are allowed to estimate tax information (make sure to update after filing). If you miss a deadline, file a FAFSA anyway; we will always consider you for the best aid available.

Undocumented students living in Washington State are eligible to receive Washington State Need Grant funds. To apply you must complete the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Funds are limited so apply as soon as possible.

SPU does not require the CSS PROFILE or a separate institutional form.

Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
The FAFSA calculates how much you and/or your family can expect to financially contribute based on federally mandated allowances and expectations given reported income, assets, and other information.
