CSOT Department/Area: Center for Worship

With the severe lack of access to and from the campus community, we assume more commuter students will be unable to return home. Furthermore, staff began to consider having to make arrangements to stay on campus beyond normal work hours. Over the next five to seven hours we will make regular reports to BEC’s regarding students under our supervision, plan for rest time for staff to check on family and make plans, and work with BEC’s to secure necessary sanitation, water, and food services. We will also make staff available to support other departments as requested. Given the day, April 29th, we have no student club meetings and would only need to cancel our regular staff meeting obviously.

Our main priority is to support students in any way possible and to continue to stay in contact with campus security in case new challenges have arisen with the recent explosion. Status reports to CSOT/OSS/ECMT will continue until we are notified to do otherwise.
