What Now questions:

  • Did you remember to drop, cover, and hold? Yes While yelling at people in waiting room to get away from window. After shaking stops check each room for patients or staff, secure sensitive areas if possible

  • Do you know  where your buildings’ evacuation location is? Disaster plan says primary is Tiffany loop even though our posted evac sign says 5th ave streetscape

  • What will you take with you when you leave the building?  Create a list of what you take with you. Jacket, radio, grab and go bag, ID, keys, cell phone

  • What will you do when you arrive at the evacuation location? Check in with BEC, Check to make sure my staff is accounted for. Set up triage for treating injuries with grab and go bags, wait for instructions for 1st aid station ie is primary location cleared as safe, proceed to csot

  • What will you do with the injured? Begin treating with supplies in grab and go bag,

  • How will you check in with your family members?  Call or email out of state relative from cell or landline Do you have an family communication plan? yes

  • What actions do you need to take in the next hour? Resupply from evacuation boxes if building unusable  Next two hours? Assign task to Health Science staff as they arrive to assist HC staff in treating injured. Check options depending on severity of shaky ground for water, food , sanitation, shelter
