- Please provide a list of what you will take with you. DWT: I’ll have my cell phone, laptop and laptop bag, and my keys (car, home and office doors).
- Access to Marston – currently, SPU’s building priority list for review by structural engineers is 1) Ashton, 2) Emerson and 3) Gwinn. It is therefore unlikely Marston will be reviewed early on in the process or for this exercise. With that in mind ... what issues do you see arising that may hamper our ability to communicate with the campus community and others? Message 2 will discuss status of power & utilities (20 minutes after the initial quake and evacuation). DWT: I’ll seriously question a “structural review” of Marston that is that far down the list. J If there is damage in Marston that would impact the availability and use of campus communications, technology, or systems – it would seem prudent to make that determination quickly. In the absence of a Facilities review, and the absence of any visual indicators that the bldg is not safe à CIS managers and administrators would most likely be inclined to enter the CIS server room and PBX room to begin a review of resources.
