Center for Worship Msg 6 Response

Point of Contact: Deb Nondorf

CSOT Department/Area: Center for Worship

What Now questions:

  • Are there any vendors you should consider contacting? How soon do they need to be contacted?

We have already contacted the vendors for GospelFest 09 – Carlson Audio, and Seattle Channel. Also contacted, via email earlier in the day, each of the Directors and honorees for GospelFest 09 to inform them of the event cancellation
  • What is the impact to your department if CIS remains down for several hours or days?

    1. Unable to communicate electronically or by land lines will make dissemination of information more difficult
    2. We will depend on person-to-person and text messaging if available for communication
    3. No electronic files are critical for us at this time
  • What actions do you need to take in the next hour?

Inform the community of the updates as a means of encouragement

  • Next two hours?

Have ECMT member available (if possible) to speak at the next gathering time for prayer to provide information and offer the community opportunity for Q & A
  • Have any issues or new questions emerged?

    1. Concerns for staff housing for the night after the students are provided shelter
    2. Concerns for information about what is going on beyond SPU proper
    3. President’s Spring Forum is the following Tuesday during Chapel time – HR and President’s office need to be making decisions re this event
