What Now questions
- Are your staff/students or others around you in need of pastoral care, counseling services? What is your plan for helping them in gaining assistance? I’m at the ECMT meeting ---- I would trust my staff to get information to others. Shelter/warmth, food, water and restrooms on campus are still unavailable as the buildings are not yet open. How will you deal with these issues for those who stay? May need to consider folks who live close to campus --- identify the properties and see if we can use facilities, or have folks stay with them. We’d need to ID willing participants in advance.
-
Have your priorities changed? No
- What actions do you need to take in the next hour? Next two hours? Receiving updates from all CSOT departments and learning what they need to remain operational. It is Wednesday --- may close campus through next Monday. Will need to contact various event managers and media (CT) if decision is made. Need list of staff/volunteers who may be working through the weekend to get campus in order --- need food, shelter, facilities available and clear list of tasks/responsibilities. (e.g. getting offices back into order), student areas into order.
-
Have any issues or new questions emerged? Issue – how to loop in academic deans and library in this process. Currently --- not part of CSOT planning and yet not part of other planning group.
