CSOT Leadership Msg 1 Response

Point of Contact: Janet Ward

CSOT Department/Area: CSOT Leadership / Primary Facilitator

What Now questions:

  1.  Yes- drop, cover and hold. Move to center of office – away from windows. Wait for order from BEC or SPU Alert to evacuate building.  When exit – I won’t lock the office.

  2. Evacuation site is the street between Demaray and Marston/Watson

  3. Items I took with me – coat, purse (with cell phone), briefcase with CSOT emergency plans and Stop.Think.Act brochure.  Briefcase had paper.  In my car I have extra water and clothes.

  4. Check in as directed by BEC. Account for my staff.  See if there are ways I  can assist the BEC.

  5. Report injured to BEC who reports it to S&S.  If BEC is too busy, send runner to S&S with name and location of injured person, along with set of symptoms.  Also provide my cell phone number for contact info.

  6. My outside contact in UT – will contact.

  7. Within the next hour --- as a member of ECMT I expect to leave for S&S once I know my staff are well and situation is under control.  I discuss with my IDM back-up where I’ll be and how to contact me if needed.  My cell phone has the contact # for all IDM staff, EMCT and CSOT primary contact.

Within next 2 hours --- expect to be working with ECMT.
