Thanks Deb,
My follow up question is about providing pastoral care --- how will students, faculty and staff know this type of care is available and how to access this assistance? What is in your plan for communicating this type of assistance … in a major event, we expect need in this area. At this point in the day (10AM) all the buildings are still closed for inspection --- so take this into consideration.
Also, if all the buildings on campus are damaged and need to be reviewed by the structural engineers be occupancy can occur, the following buildings will be inspected first --- current priority is 1) Ashton, 2) Emerson 3) Gwinn, 4) Hill, 5) Moyer. So with this in mind …. and knowing that by 10:00 AM the structural engineers have not yet arrived (and we’re not sure when they will .. . this comes out later in the exercise)… what’s the plan? We also see at 10:03 AM there is an explosion on campus --- so nerves will be on edge.
Thanks for thinking through this one …..
