CSOT Follow-up to CIS on Msg 1

To: Dave Tindall / CIS

Thanks Dave,

I have a few follow up questions for you ….

  • I see what items your staff have been instructed to take with them as they left the building.  When we get to the table top exercise on Wed, you will only be able to use the items you bring with you out of the building (or have access to in your car).  With that in mind, what items are you taking with you as you evacuate the building? Please provide a list of what you will take with you.

  • Access to Marston – currently, SPU’s building priority list for review by structural engineers is 1) Ashton, 2) Emerson and 3) Gwinn.  It is therefore unlikely Marston will be reviewed early on in the process or for this exercise.  With that in mind ... what issues do you see arising that may hamper our ability to communicate with the campus community and others?  Message 2 will discuss status of power & utilities (20 minutes after the initial quake and evacuation).
