Welcome to the Student Counseling Center website. The staff of the SCC are dedicated to student well-being and providing services collaboratively with compassion, respect, and sensitivity to students' unique challenges and cultural backgrounds.

Please Note: Our services are available (free of charge) only to currently enrolled SPU undergraduates.

The SCC operates within a short-term model.  In most cases students are provided up to 6 sessions per academic year NOTE: As we approach the end of the academic year and simply do not have the staffing resources or enough time remaining to see students for up to 6 sessions, students will be seen for fewer sessions and the counseling with then need to be focused on practical problem solving and referral to counseling providers in the community.  A limited number of students will be served longer-term based on need and the inability to access services in the community.  There are no session limits for students served in any of the SCC Groups.

What We Provide
