Minor in Economics
Minor in Entrepreneurship The entrepreneurship minor is appropriate for non-business and non-accounting majors who are interested in business planning and would like to learn more about starting a business venture. Students must submit a one page application specifying prior business experience, whether they have a project in mind, and their expectations for the minor. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 2.70 in a minimum of 45 quarter credits of coursework. SBE Policy on combining majors and minors: 1. An accounting major and an economics minor is allowed, provided there are at least 15 non-overlapping credits. 2. A business major and an economics minor is allowed, provided there are at least 15 non-overlapping credits. 3. An economics major and a business or entrepreneurship minor is allowed, provided there are at least 15 non-overlapping credits. Not allowed: (1) Accounting major and business minor; (2) Business major and business minor; (3) Economics major and economics minor; (4) Accounting major and entrepreneurship minor; (5) Business major and entrepreneurship minor; (6) Business minor and entrepreneurship minor.
