To take full advantage of this remarkable too, SBE has developed its own CareerLeader web home page at www.careerleader.com/cf/univ/spu.html.

Entrance into the program requires prior approval through registration with the Program Administrator.

Once registered, a username and password will be provided. The directions on the home page will guide you in creating your own unique CareerLeader account. SBE is offering CareerLeader as a pilot program free of charge (normally a $20 fee). Your results may be used by SBE faculty and staff to assist the School in providing helpful advising services and to highlight various opportunities for you to get involved in curricular and extra-curricular activities. Otherwise, the results are just for your use.

The greatest value in using this tool is to you, the student. CareerLeader is a rich program, with comprehensive business career information and an expert system to guide you through the assessment process. We ask that, before you register for business courses, you log into the program and take the first of the three assessment inventories, the Business Career Interest Inventory. We also ask that you familiarize yourself with the interpretive tools for this first inventory. This initial exploration of CareerLeader should take no more than ninety minutes and will provide the best possible introduction to business career self-assessment. We also strongly recommend that you take the other two tests as well, which will enable you to review your comprehensive Interpretive Overview report, and explore the remaining portions of the website. Of course you can always return to CareerLeader and complete the other inventories and interpretive exercises as your own schedule permits.
