Pre-Qualified Students


The start of each quarter at Seattle Pacific University presents a new opportunity for you to start classes in our graduate programs.

Did you know that you may be able to start classes in the next quarter before formally applying to the MBA or MS-ISM degree program? Yes, you can!

Qualified individuals may take up to three Pre-MBA foundations core courses or two ISM background courses if they have an undergraduate degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA, (as evidenced by an official transcript from an accredited institution); a minimum of one full year, continuous full-time work experience post bachelor's degree (as evidenced by a current résumé).  Pre-qualified students may not take MBA advanced, MBA electives, ISM required or ISM elective courses. If they wish to continue in a graduate program after completing the three MBA core courses or two ISM background courses they must apply for admission. Pre-qualified status does not guarantee full admission at a later date.

 

Start dates for upcoming terms:

Winter January 5, 2009
Spring March 25, 2009
Summer June 15, 2009
Autumn September 28, 2009

 

Classes available to pre-qualified students:

All autumn, winter and spring quarter classes meet on the noted weeknight from 6:00 pm to 8:50 pm. 

Winter 2009

BUS 6132 Managerial Accounting - Wednesdays

BUS 6164 Operations Management* - Tuesdays

BUS 6171 Quantitative Methods - Mondays

Spring 2009

BUS 6120 Managerial Finance

BUS 6140 Legal Environment of Business

BUS 6170 Information Systems Management - Wednesdays

*Course is also required in the MS-ISM program.
