Advising for MBA Course Selection

How long will it take you to complete the MBA degree?

Our program is focused on serving the working professional. Evening and select weekend courses are scheduled to accommodate students with active work schedules. Courses are generally designed to meet one evening, three hours per week, for 11 weeks. How quickly you complete the degree will depend upon the number of courses taken each quarter and whether you go summer. Most students do 2 classes per quarter and on average complete the MBA in three years.

To progress through the MBA program in the most efficient manner, it is recommended that students complete the required pre-MBA foundations core and advanced courses in the following order. As a general rule students should try to complete the courses in each set before beginning the next set. Student should verify that they meet course prerequisites with the associate graduate director.

Care should be taken when planning for the required five elective courses, because many of these may only be offered once each year and a few are offered only every other year. MBA students may take information systems management courses as MBA electives.
