Research interests: Accounting history, interface of accounting with the social and political environment, professionalization of accounting

Experience: Dr. Stewart joined the SPU faculty in 1986. His accounting experience includes serving with Price Waterhouse & Co. as an auditor. He has published in The Accountant's Journal, Accounting Historians Journal, Accounting Organizations and Society, and Accounting Review. Ross brings international experience to the discipline of accounting as a native of New Zealand.
