Research interests: Currently working on projects related to corporate social responsibility, profiling senior executive-institutional investor relations, climate change and leadership.

Experience:
Dr. Petersen joined Seattle Pacific University in September of 2003. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in strategy and social responsibility.

Before joining SPU, Henry conducted research at the University of Calgary (Canada) with the Research Chair in Risk Communications and Public Policy, and TC-IRIS, a social and environmental research institute. Henry also spent 18 months in Latin America completing his Master's degree in 'Energy and the Environment' and consulting for energy sector corporations. The degree, awarded by the University of Calgary, was completed in association with the Latin American Energy Organization, an international entity headquartered in Quito, Ecuador. Professor Petersen has experience with incorporations, proprietorships, having owned and operated several businesses in the electrical sector, as well as professionally participated in the research and development of plasma generators.
