Experience:
Douglas Downing is the author of 14 books on quantitative methods and computers, including a trilogy of math textbooks in the form of adventure stories: Algebra the Easy Way, Trigonometry the Easy Way, and Calculus the Easy Way (which was first published in 1982). Recently he has written Java Programming the Easy Way.

His current economic work involves updating previous work on unemployment and investigating other public policy questions.
