- Abstract
- This paper examines the need for an additional focus on information technology (IT) ethics in the business curriculum. We suggest a variety of pedagogical formats in which IT ethics can be integrated into the business curriculum. In particular, the following three topics: privacy (including social networks and GPS), intellectual property (given the digital nature of music, video, & software), and work-life (im-)balance due to technology advancements, should receive further consideration within the larger parameters of business ethics. It is the goal of this paper to share what the authors and our institution are doing to meet this challenge in the space of business focused IT ethics from a Christian higher education perspective.
