Theology of Work Seminar
for Pastors and Equippers

Every Sunday, pastors faithfully teach the Word of God. But sometimes they struggle to help Christians apply the lessons of Scripture in the workplace. How can pastors and other equippers better bridge the faith-and-work divide and effectively prepare men and women to live out their faith Monday through Saturday?

Theology of WorkJoin us for a Theology of Work Seminar and learn from a new commentary that draws from all 66 books of the Bible to offer a deeper understanding of faith practices at work.

Dr. Will Messenger, executive editor of the Theology of Work Commentary, and Dr. Al Erisman, executive-in-residence at Seattle Pacific University, will introduce this new resource and provide guidance in using it.

Technology Conference
June 22-23

The CIB is pleased to host The Digital Society: Rethinking the Christian Commentary on Technology for the 21st Century on the SPU campus.

The conference will gather business leaders, Christian equippers, and academics who study technology to start a new conversation -- blending philosophical and theoretical perspectives with the practical experiences of those who design, build, and direct the implementation of new technologies.

We believe this conversation is much-needed, and we hope it will result in fresh perspectives on technology that inspire greater faithfulness, and increase our desire and ability to meet the needs of the world. Please contact tlane@spu.edu for more information.
