Two New Specializations in the MBA at SPU Seattle Pacific University's School of Business and Economics is now offering two new specialization areas in the MBA program. The new Technology Management and International Business specializations will enable students to excel in today's complex and changing business environment. The Technology Management specialization builds the competencies needed for managing technology companies, products, and services. The International Business specialization encompasses a study abroad experience, and a variety of area studies, including newly emerging economies, managing across cultural contexts, and international finance. SBE Students Inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society 15 students of the School of Business and Economics at Seattle Pacific University were recently inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. BGS recognizes the best business students internationally at institutions accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. There is no higher honor than to graduate "Beta Gamma Sigma". Undergraduate students inducted were: Veronica Cook, Jamie Durbin, Eva Esping, Kyle Lusk, Winslow Moran-Hodge, Marissa Olswang and Shianne Paez. Also inducted were MBA graduate students: Nathan Alton, Kristi Conser, Ashley Duncan, Jason Garza, Joe Knolmayer, Mark Moore, Jill Pope and Harshpreet Walia. Congratulations to our students on achieving this recognition and honor.

SBE First in the Pacific Northwest to Adopt the United Nations' "Principles of Responsible Management Education" The School of Business and Economics at Seattle Pacific University is the first business school in the Pacific Northwest to adopt the United Nations' "Principles for Responsible Management Education." As an early adopter, SBE joins a number of other leading business schools in committing to inspire and champion responsible management education, research and thought leadership globally. Co-conveners of this program include AACSB, the Aspen Institute, EABIS, and the United Nations Global Compact. AACSB accredited institutions who are willing to integrate corporate responsibility and sustainability in a systemic manner throughout their programs are invited to join.
