SAS Faculty Resources: Forms and Resources

Schedule Types

A schedule type is a three character code:

The first character is a unique code which determines the delivery type of the class.

The second character determines whether the class is considered:

1.  regular (organized) class (R)

2.  individual instruction (I)

The third character indicates whether the section is counted toward:

1.  faculty load (L)

2.  does not count toward faculty load (N)

Please choose the schedule types(s) and indicate the primary type if there is more than one.  The office of Information and Data Management uses this information for university reporting.
