HOW TO APPLY (2009-2010)

First-time freshmen are eligible for the residence halls. Transfer students are eligible for the campus apartments (including Robbins) and the Wesley Apartments. Transfer students who wish to be placed on a waiting list for the halls should communicate their request in the notes section of their application. In the event that space becomes available, you will be contacted in September.

You must do two things to be assigned to campus housing:

Submit an Application (available April 6, 2009)
To apply, complete the online Campus Housing Application. When you access the link, you will be directed to a Banner Information System login screen and will be prompted to enter your User ID and PIN. Your User ID is your SPU ID number, and the first time you enter the system, your PIN will be either your birth date in MMDDYY format or the last six digits of your SPU ID number.

Submit a $300 Housing Deposit
After submitting your application, you will see a link to pay your housing deposit. The link has a secure connection and is available 24 hours a day. You can pay by e-check (a no-fee service) or by credit card (with a 2.75% transaction fee). MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card are accepted. SPU cannot accept credit or debit card payments over the phone or in person. Please be prepared to pay when you submit your application.

If you would prefer to pay by paper check, please make a $300 check payable to SPU and write your ID number on the check. Mail your deposit to:

Seattle Pacific University
Housing Services
3307 Third Avenue West, Suite 312
Seattle, Washington 98119-1957

Note: Your housing deposit will not appear as a payment on your account; it is held separately and released when you leave SPU housing, provided you have met your contract obligations and have not damaged your room.
