Emerson Hall
Students say Emerson is a great place to live, learn, and build friendships to last a lifetime. Emerson opened in 2001 and features
suite-style rooms and card-access security. Other features include a main lounge with gas fireplace, a courtyard and garden area, underground parking, and an exercise center.

Emerson Hall is centrally located, providing easy access to many campus buildings. Popular events include a quarterly Coffee House, the Emerson Film Festival, and a Spring Banquet, which has been held at the Seattle Space Needle and the Experience Music Project.
Living in Emerson also provides a unique opportunity for
students to participate in educational programs and intentional
conversations related to global issues and cross-cultural relationships
through the BRIDGES program. Residents are encouraged
to live out SPU’s commitment to grace-filled community
and radical reconciliation. BRIDGES supports this commitment
by breaking down barriers and helping to bridge cultural differences
among Emerson residents and the SPU campus at large.
