Christian Clinic seeks media, advocacy and administrative help

Puget Sound Christian Clinic is committed to providing quality and compassionate health care to our homeless, low-income, and uninsured neighbors as a demonstration of Christian love.  We currently have a great need for volunteer leadership roles for managing and expanding our social media presence, creating tools for community advocacy, and working to connect with churches.

In addition, we need lots of help with administrative tasks including processing donations, bookkeeping, database support, and filing.  If any of these opportunities are of interest to you please contact our Director of Development, Edward Sumner, at edwardsumner@pschristianclinic.org.

Childcare Volunteers needed at SPU’s Community Kitchen

Volunteer childcare helpers are needed on Wednesdays, 6:00-9:00 PM on campus for SPU’s Community Kitchen.

The Community Kitchen involves individuals in need of affordable food, cooking and meal planning skills, food and nutrition knowledge, and a supportive community. During each CK session, participants work alongside students to prepare four to seven different recipes. At the end of a session, some of the prepared food is consumed in a shared meal, and the rest is divided among participants to take home.

For more information, contact Dr. Geleva: dgeleva@spu.edu or 206.378.5409.
